Patient Background –
A 60-year-old female named Mrs.S.P. (Registration number: ADO-49) has presented with a complaint of pain in multiple joints, such asthe shoulder joint, the elbow joint, the knee joint, andthe ankle joint, since 2014. She also suffered extreme pain and stiffness. Sometimes her pain aggravated after the evening. On the basis of her investigation, it was found that her RA Factor was increased, that is 50.83 lU/ml, which confirmed that she suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Past Medical History –
No history of any major illness before.
Family History –
The father has pneumonitis and umbilical hernia, andthe mother has cervical cancer.
Personal History –
The patient is chilly and thirsty, witha desire for sour and sweet, andan aversion to spicy food. She had dreams of God. Sleep was less due to joint pain.
Mental History –
Mentally, the patient had suppressed anger. She was courageous and straightforward. She wanted everyone in disciplined. She cannot tolerate injustice.
Prescription –
Aurum Met 200 was prescribed based on the patient’s case analysis.
Follow up –
1)21/08/24 – There was no history of cold or cough. Shoulder pain was reduced. Elbow joint pain reduced up to (20-30%) improvement. A mild headache was there.
Patient was Advised to continue with medicines.
2)19/10/24 – There was a Slight improvement (50%) with reduction in B/L shoulder pain, but there was cervical pain with tingling sensation, and also pain inthe right side calf muscles.
3)07/12/24 – Marked improvement (70%) in Bilateral shoulder pain and elbow pain had reduced. Mild calf muscle pain and mild cervical pain were there.
4)22/01/25 – There was good improvement (90%) in complaints of joint pain, but calf muscles pain was still there.
5) 22/03/25 – Complete recovery, no more joint pain. Fully recovered from Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA).On the basis of investigations, the RA factor test was Negativ,e which was 15.8 lU/ml.
