The parents of 16-year-old female patient named R.M ( Registration number: ABB-89) visited Homeo Care Clinic on October 31, 2020. The patient was bedridden as she was suffering from Cerebral Palsy since birth. History was taken by her parents.

Her parents stated that she had been suffering from generalized epilepsy since 6-7 years of age. The episodes of seizures were very frequent and would continue to cause her discomfort even 3-4 days after getting seizures.

FAMILY HISTORY

The patient’s mother had a history of PCOD.

 

PHYSICAL GENERALS

The patient’s appetite was good. she had a significant craving for spicy food and had aversion to sweets. She was thirstless in general and was a thermally hot patient.

On mental assessment, it was found that the patient was very fond of listening to music. She had a fear of falling and would like to be surrounded by people.

 

MOTHER’S MENTAL STATE DURING PREGNANCY

As the patient was suffering since birth, the mother’s mental state during pregnancy was also taken into consideration. On further evaluation, it was found that the patient’s mother had family-related stress during pregnancy. Her relationship with her husband was also not good. There was silent grief during the entire pregnancy period.
